Betty Mackie is a professional technical writer with more than 10 years of experience in technical writing. As a professional and experienced technical writer, she has already gained much expertise in the field of writing and creating customized brochures, help manuals, newspaper articles and grant writings. She holds a degree in Liberal Arts from the East Tennessee State University (ETSU). She has also attended the North Carolina State University (NCSU) and became a UNC Charlotte graduate in English Literature.
Betty Mackie is currently working with the B and D Technical Writing Company since 2000. She also served as a trainer in English Language, Literature and Writing at B and D Training Services from 1985 to 1999.Apart from this, she also works with Beachee Tables since 2007, where she designs and patents tables to be used at the beach.
Apart from her job, Betty Mackie also has the expertise of a business consultant, designer, health insurance agent, medical administrator. She has also successfully designed different layouts as a general contractor for brand new kitchens and also has effectively designed and renovated five homes under her supervision.
Betty Mackie is currently married to Chris Donovin, a licensed and certified physician assistant at Shipyard Medical Center. Betty is an associate of Susan G. Komen, a breast cancer foundation in the United States. She is also a respected philanthropist and supports the March of Dimes, a non-profit organization working to improve the health of mothers and babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
