Betty G. Mackie Worked as a Trainer for English Language, Literature and Writing from 1985 to 1999

Betty G. Mackie is a professional Technical Writer who at present is working with B and D Technical Writing Company. Since 2000, she is writing for the company’s brochures, newspaper articles, manuals and grant writings. She has acquired wide proficiency in writing and has also trained aspirants for English language, literature and writing from1985 to 1999.

Shehas also served at various positions including business consultant, designer, health insurance agent, medical administrator, etc. Since 2007, she is involved in designing and manufacturing beach tables and beach wear for BeacheTable.com. To keep things including refreshment off the sand, she designs compact and lightweight beach tables as well as unique beachwear.

Being a designer and overseeing 5 home renovations, Betty G. Mackie encountered many problems during her work, such as:

  • Discovering water leaks in one of the projects, which required working closely with the engineers, local and county building inspectors.
  • Responsibility for paying contractors and staying within a fixed budget for each project.
  • For dealing with uncooperative contractors in order to get the repair work done.
  • Dealing with the landscaping firms that cut down the wrong trees, which needs to be replanted at their expense.
  • Dealing with a national window firm that sized and ordered the incorrect size windows and were forced to cover the expenses incurred.

Betty G. Mackie attended the North Carolina State University and she is a UNC Charlotte graduate in English literature. Later, she attended East Tennessee State University (ETSU) where she got a degree in Liberal Arts. She is a soccer enthusiast and loves to travel in and around the United States. She supports March of Dimes - a nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of babies and mothers. Betty is also associated with Susan G. Komen - a Breast Cancer foundation.
